WHO WE ARE...
MISSION AND HISTORY
Irishfest celebrates the music, dance and food of Ireland while spotlighting central Wisconsin as a vibrant, entertaining and welcoming place for residents, tourists and visitors.
Irishfest is a 501C(3) nonprofit corporation that focuses on enhancing our community by building strong relationships with our sponsors, providing a free and open event for the enjoyment of our citizens, creating a quality experience for our guests and giving back to the community through the Kiwanis Club of Wausau.
All proceeds from beverage sales go directly to the Kiwanis Club of Wausau, a member of Kiwanis International. Kiwanis International is one of the largest service organizations in the world. The money we raise supports the following local programs:
Coats for Kids
Rib Mountain State Park
High School Key Clubs
Irishfest is a full day of activities including a morning bicycle rally with three routes (one for families and two for advanced riders). We are expanding this year to Kennedy Park, 6002 Alderson St., Weston. Lots of room to roam! The festival grounds will feature Irish musicians, bagpipers, an Irish dancing exhibition with workshops and traditional Irish food. Admission is free to the festival. There is a nominal fee for the bike ride to cover expenses for the participant T-shirts and lunch.
There are six levels of sponsorship opportunities ranging from Presenting to Patron and offering visibility in accordance with the level of support. This visibility can include Web, Social Media, Press, Posters and T-shirts.
