Our seventh annual Irishfest will be here soon and we anticipate another successful event. Last year our attendance was over 3,500 and we reached more than 26,000 people via our Facebook ads. More than 100 people participated in the bike rides. It’s clear that Irishfest is becoming a tradition for Central Wisconsin residents. It’s a grand day of music, dancing, food and camaraderie, all in celebration of the rich Irish culture.
We will be bringing you daytime family fun sponsored by Ascension. A tiered bike ride starting at 10AM with different mileage depending on your expertise. Musical Workshops and Session dancers will round out the afternoon. Starting at 4:00PM the live music will begin with Minnesota based Two Tap Trio and Dancers from the Rince na Chroi School of Irish Dance. Rounding out the evening will be Reilly from 6 - 7:30 and Wild Colonial Bhoys from Minnesota from 8 -10pm. Get your dancing shoes on! To top off the day will be a fireworks show!
Irishfest is a 501C(3) nonprofit corporation that focuses on enhancing our community by building strong relationships with our sponsors, providing a free and open event for the enjoyment of our citizens, creating a quality experience for our guests and giving back to the community through the Kiwanis Club of Wausau as well as other local charities
